What is DrupalCamp?
Drupalcamp is a yearly local conference in Flanders that moves around from city to city every time it is organized. Its aim is to bring Drupal enthusiasts, developers and frontend developers from all kinds of backgrounds closer together and share knowledge, experiences and ideas face-to-face.
We want to cover all aspects of Drupal site building and reach out to the Drupal community in Flanders and beyond to share their passion.
The main goal is to help grow the local community as well as to extend your personal network.
What you can expect:
-
get in touch with other developers and projects;
-
be informed about the latest developments in the Drupal world;
-
attend interesting talks and presentations on various topics by project leaders and committers;
-
meet the great Drupal community in person.
Developer rooms
The Drupalcamp team feels it is very important for developers, themers and site builders to be able to meet in “real life”.
To this end, we have set up developer rooms with network/internet connectivity where teams can meet. These are a place for teams to discuss, hack and publicly present latest directions, lightning talks, news and discussions.
Want to talk?
We would like to hear from you in September. We have 2 tracks across 2 days and we hope to see all kinds of sessions!
We are looking for proposals on the following topics:
- Drupal 8 Site Building
- Drupal 8 Theming/Front End
- Drupal 8 Development
- Business Development
- DevOps
- Symfony
- How To's/Case Studies (Drupal 7 and 8)
- Community Panels / Discussions.
The camp offers two concurrent sessions across a variety of tracks and skill levels. The deadline for proposals is August 10th! This gives us about a month to prepare and review all the sessions and make sure we can select a really awesome line-up. Want to know more details?
